RE-DEFINED EdCity, White City

Overview
EdCity sits at 1 EdCity Walk in White City, West London, a ten-storey, net-zero carbon-in-operation building run by RE-DEFINED. The area has become one of London's more interesting office pockets, with the workspace itself channelling income to support the Ark education charity, and its design recently picked up Best Corporate Workplace London at the 2025 British Council for Offices Awards.
The interiors are light-filled throughout, with three-metre ceilings giving every floor an open, airy feel rather than the boxed-in quality of older office stock. A manned reception sets the tone on arrival, and the working day moves easily between communal breakout areas, a ninth-floor lounge, and dedicated meeting rooms ranging from a boardroom to seminar rooms and a full lecture theatre. There's an on-site café for a coffee between meetings, and the building's event space, which doubles as a theatre and podcast studio, adds a different rhythm to the day beyond standard desk work. Natural light runs through the whole building, making even a long stretch at a desk feel less enclosed.
White City has transformed into a genuine destination over the last few years, with Wood Lane and White City stations both within walking distance for the Circle, Hammersmith & City, and Central lines. Westfield London sits right alongside, offering a dense spread of lunch options and after-work choices without needing to leave the immediate area. The neighbourhood blends new-build energy with proper retail and leisure scale, giving it a different character to most of central London's office districts.
