Overview
1 Bedford Row is Drayton's serviced office building occupying a Georgian townhouse built in 1718 on Bedford Row in Holborn, London WC1R 4BU. The mansion's past occupants include the Duchess of Chandos, Cassandra Willoughby, and the law firm Gregory, Rowcliffe & Milners, who were based there for more than two centuries until 2022; the street's well-preserved Georgian architecture has also featured on screen. Original details — ornate cornicing, bay windows and a fireplace in almost every room — sit alongside chandeliers and antique furniture throughout, with a manned reception staffed by Drayton's front-of-house team Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
Three private serviced suites are available on flexible 12-month terms: Wolf on the ground floor (4 desks, 1,329 sq ft, £3,200 pcm), Giraffe | Summer Room on the ground floor (3 desks, 761 sq ft, £1,980 pcm), and Chinchilla on the third floor (2 desks, 220 sq ft, £1,650 pcm) — all unbranded, individually air-conditioned and heated, and let with high-quality furniture already in place. Members share two lounges, a courtyard, a laptop room, boardrooms, phone booths, a dining room and kitchen, and a dedicated space known as The Vault, with 24/7 building access, fibre internet with backup IT support, bike storage and showers. Drayton also runs monthly community events for members, alongside complimentary fresh fruit, a members' bar, and tea and coffee in the kitchen.
Chancery Lane station (Central line) and Holborn station (Central and Piccadilly lines) are both roughly a 4-5 minute walk away, placing the building at the centre of London's legal and professional-services district. Lincoln's Inn Fields, the capital's largest garden square, sits directly opposite, and the surrounding streets are lined with cafés, restaurants and pubs suited to client meetings or an after-work drink.
