RE-DEFINED Power Road Studios, Chiswick

Overview
Power Road Studios occupies a converted former Singer Sewing Machine factory, later a BBC Studios site, on Power Road in Chiswick, run by RE-DEFINED in partnership with Feldberg Capital. The building carries its industrial past with real character, and west London's quieter, leafier edge gives it a different rhythm to the centre.
Inside, the scale is the first thing that strikes: high ceilings, exposed steel beams and raw concrete finishes, all lit well by proper natural light and kept comfortable with air conditioning. The day moves between private studios and a landscaped courtyard, with the Singer Coffee Bar acting as a natural meeting point near the entrance. Meeting rooms, including an Atrium Boardroom, are on hand for anything more formal, and showers and bike storage sit alongside a multi-faith room and communal kitchens for anyone cycling in or needing a break. The whole layout, split across ground and lower ground floors, feels considered rather than retrofitted.
Gunnersbury station is a short walk away, putting the District line and the Mildmay Overground line within easy reach, while Chiswick Park station offers a further option and the A4 and North Circular keep the building well connected for those driving in or heading out to Heathrow. Chiswick's high street is close enough for a proper lunch break, with a good spread of independent cafes and restaurants beyond the studio gates. It is a part of London where industrial heritage and suburban calm sit comfortably side by side.
