X+Why Bloomsbury House, Bloomsbury

Overview
Managed by x+why, Bloomsbury House occupies four interconnected Georgian townhouses on Great Russell Street, built during the reign of Charles II and once home to the publishing house Faber and Faber. A later modern annex links the row without disrupting its stucco fronted symmetry. Inside, high ceilings, tall sash windows and original panelled detailing sit alongside a private garden tucked behind the townhouses.
Private offices on the upper floors keep their period proportions, with sage green panelled walls and tall windows framing the street below. Downstairs, breakout booths and an open kitchen table hub give teams somewhere to work away from the desk, alongside meeting rooms available for pitches and workshops. The building runs on 24 hour access, so the working day follows the people in it rather than a fixed schedule.
Holborn station is two minutes on foot, served by the Central and Piccadilly lines, and Tottenham Court Road station, on the Central, Northern and Elizabeth lines, is a six minute walk. The British Museum sits directly across the street, with Bloomsbury's garden squares, independent shops and cafes close by. It is a quiet, scholarly corner of central London, still minutes from the buzz of Soho and Covent Garden.
