CREO Chancery Lane, Barbican

Westgate House sits less than a minute from Chancery Lane station on Holborn, right where the City of London meets Clerkenwell and the legal quarter. Run by Creo, a family business founded by Corina and Matt Davies, the 22,000 sq ft building was fully refurbished and reopened in 2021, and a striking gold leaf mural in reception sets the tone from the moment of arrival.

Inside, the floors are bright and contemporary, with private offices for teams of three right up to several hundred, a large communal lounge with plenty of different spots to work, and phone booths for quieter calls. Three meeting rooms with large screens, cameras for video calls, and whiteboards make client sessions and team workshops easy to host. A roof terrace gives everyone somewhere to step outside, while showers, bike storage, lockers, fruit and snacks, and 24/7 access for occupiers take care of the everyday details.

Chancery Lane is a one-minute walk on the Central line, Farringdon is six minutes away for the Elizabeth line and Thameslink, and Holborn is a short stroll for the Piccadilly line. Leather Lane's lunchtime street food market and the jewellers of Hatton Garden are just around the corner, and the quiet squares of Gray's Inn and Lincoln's Inn Fields are close by for a break in the fresh air.
